What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS funding option that provides help and/or supervision with daily tasks. Its goal is to allow participants to live as independently as possible while actively building their everyday skills. SIL is designed for individuals with higher support needs who require daily assistance or supervision and is typically provided in shared living arrangements.

What will my living arrangement look like with SIL?
SIL is most commonly delivered in shared living arrangements (group homes). We can also provide SIL if you live in your own private rental or home. Our focus is always on matching you with suitable housemates and support staff to ensure a positive and welcoming environment.
